Scalper, my former bandmate from Fun-da-mental was always pushing me to feel confident with my own sound, hence I called him up early on when it came to doing some 'solo' material. I think this is the second collab we did, the first was 'Speed of Death'which was made for the compilation for the film Injustice, which describes the hardships felt by the families of those that died at the hands of the Police in the UK.
Scalper's lyrics here get to the core, his words searing upon landing, very visual I think.
I seem to recall putting in a musical element that reminded me of when the Ice Cream van cruised the streets, enticing kids with that tacky sound coming out of the mounted speaker(s). That was to counter the lyrics if i remember correctly.
