Aki always described Aziz as the 'Punk' to Nusrat's 'Classical'. We saw him perform in a little village in Pakistan, then we some time later we went to his house, so see if he would collaborate with us, which he did. We performed several shows in the UK. One of the most memorable one's lasted three songs, as some of the audiences, fueled by alcohol from the cornershop couldn't take our approach to sound and considered our performance offensive.
To perform with Aziz is a highlight of my life. I aim to have another go at getting this track right, he deserves it. The hi-hats are way to high.
